Teresa's Tattoo (1994) DVD
The plot
Teresa would rather spend her college break studying mathematics than partying. After friends persuade her to go out, she wakes to a situation no calculation could have predicted: a kidnapping, a changed appearance and a tattoo she never requested. Her captors seem determined to make her fit a plan, even if they are not especially good at carrying it out. Adrienne Shelly, C. Thomas Howell and Nancy McKeon star in Julie Cypher's offbeat crime comedy. Teresa's attempts to understand the scheme bring a sensible outsider into collision with a collection of unreliable criminals. The appeal lies in the escalating confusion and the mismatch between the victim and her supposed masterminds.
