The Unseen (1980) DVD
The plot
Three television journalists travel to Solvang to cover a local festival, only to find that suitable accommodation is scarce. An offer to stay in a private home seems to solve their problem. Their hosts, however, are concealing something that turns an ordinary overnight visit into a terrifying mistake. Barbara Bach, Sydney Lassick and Stephen Furst feature in this horror thriller, directed by Danny Steinmann under the name Peter Foleg. The film builds its suspense around an apparently welcoming household and the danger hidden inside it. It is an unsettling choice for viewers who enjoy stories in which a stranger’s hospitality gradually becomes impossible to escape.
