Hell Night (1981) DVD
The plot
Four college pledges must spend the night in an abandoned mansion as part of an initiation ritual. The house's history of family violence supplies the setting for their classmates' pranks, until an unseen threat makes it difficult to tell staged scares from real danger. Linda Blair stars with Vincent Van Patten and Peter Barton in Tom DeSimone's horror film. An isolated mansion, a cruel initiation and young people cut off from help give this early-1980s chiller a focused setup for fans of haunted-house atmosphere and slasher suspense.
