The Raging Moon (1971) DVD — Long Ago, Tomorrow
The plot
A sudden change in his health takes Bruce away from the life he expected and into a residential home. Angry and withdrawn, he finds little comfort in its routines. Meeting Jill offers a connection that challenges his isolation and opens the possibility of a relationship on their own terms. Malcolm McDowell and Nanette Newman star in Bryan Forbes’s drama, also known as Long Ago, Tomorrow. Rather than treating romance as separate from daily life, the film explores affection, independence and the assumptions surrounding two wheelchair users. It is a thoughtful choice for viewers seeking British character drama centered on intimacy and personal agency.
