The Naked Prey (1965) DVD
The plot
An ivory safari’s confrontation with local hunters ends in capture and brutal punishment. One man is given a head start and released without weapons, only to find that his freedom is the beginning of a hunt. Every stretch of open ground offers another chance to escape—or be discovered. Cornel Wilde directs and stars in this spare survival adventure, where movement, landscape and physical endurance carry much of the storytelling. The pursuit gradually brings hunter and hunted into an uneasy relationship. For viewers who prefer a tense chase to lengthy explanation, the film offers a stark, visually driven journey through hostile terrain.
