The Medusa Touch (1978) DVD — Special Edition, Widescreen
The plot
An assault leaves novelist John Morlar gravely injured, but the detective investigating the attack uncovers a disturbing pattern in his past. With help from Morlar’s psychiatrist, he must consider whether the writer merely anticipated disasters or possessed the power to bring them about. Richard Burton stars with Lee Remick and Lino Ventura in Jack Gold’s supernatural thriller. Police investigation and psychological unease gradually give way to a larger threat, making the mystery as much about the reach of a mind as the identity of an attacker. This digitally restored special-edition DVD presents the film in widescreen.
