The plot
London, 2008: floodwater fills the streets, and detective Harley Stone is still haunted by the death of his partner. A new series of killings points to something more dangerous than an ordinary murderer. Forced to work with a very different new partner, Stone follows a trail that threatens both the city and the woman closest to him. Rutger Hauer and Kim Cattrall star in this blend of police thriller, science fiction and creature horror. Rain-soaked streets and an increasingly desperate hunt give the investigation its uneasy atmosphere. Split Second suits a movie night built around tough detectives, unlikely partnerships and monsters lurking beyond the next corner.
