The Force (1994) DVD
The plot
Rookie police officer Cal Warner becomes the unwilling vessel for the spirit of a murdered detective. Driven by another man’s memories and unfinished business, Cal is drawn toward the circumstances of the killing and the detective’s widow, with his own identity increasingly difficult to protect. Jason Gedrick, Kim Delaney and Gary Hudson star in Mark Rosman’s supernatural crime thriller. The Force combines a police investigation with a possession story, making it an unusual choice for viewers who like their detective films to cross into the uncanny. Its central question is who is directing Cal’s actions—and how far that presence will take him.
