Tell Them Willie Boy Is Here (1969) DVD

Willie Boy and Lola flee into the desert after a confrontation with her father ends in a killing. Sheriff Cooper leads the pursuit, but the manhunt is surrounded by public pressure and competing ideas of justice. As the distance between pursuer and fugitive narrows, the landscape becomes both a refuge and an unforgiving obstacle. Robert Redford, Robert Blake and Katharine Ross star in Abraham Polonsky's Western drama. The film places tension between individuals within a wider atmosphere of prejudice and political scrutiny. Its pursuit story will appeal to viewers who prefer Westerns with moral uncertainty and characters whose choices cannot be reduced to a simple contest between hero and villain.
