Open Fire (1994) DVD
The plot
Former FBI agent Alec McNeil faces a group of mercenaries whose plan threatens Los Angeles with nerve gas. With lives at stake and little room for error, he must confront the men behind the threat before their demands become a catastrophe. The danger forces him back into the kind of confrontation he hoped to leave behind. Jeff Wincott stars opposite Patrick Kilpatrick, with Mimi Craven, in Kurt Anderson's action thriller. It is the Wincott film from 1994, distinct from the British television drama of the same name. A direct conflict between a resourceful hero and a ruthless opponent gives this selection its appeal for 1990s action collectors.
