Modern Love (1990) DVD
The plot
Marriage and the prospect of parenthood force Greg to reconsider how well his romantic ideals fit ordinary life. His relationship with Billie brings affection, insecurity and responsibility into the same household, where understanding another person proves harder than imagining the perfect partnership. Robby Benson writes, directs and stars alongside Karla DeVito, with Rue McClanahan among the cast. This comedy looks at the changes a couple faces as their life together becomes more complicated. It is a personable option for viewers who enjoy relationship stories built around everyday anxieties rather than grand romantic gestures.
