Texas Across the River (1966) DVD
The plot
A Spanish nobleman's wedding plans collapse when a confrontation ends in a death and he is blamed. Fleeing into Texas, Don Andrea falls in with frontier adventurer Sam Hollis. Their partnership brings fresh trouble as romance, misunderstandings and competing interests turn the journey into something neither man can easily control. Dean Martin and Alain Delon star with Rosemary Forsyth and Joey Bishop in Michael Gordon's Western comedy. The contrast between the polished newcomer and his more practical companion gives the adventure its comic engine. For viewers who enjoy Dean Martin's relaxed screen persona and Westerns played with a light touch, this is a lively pairing.
