Men of Means (1998) DVD
The plot
Once a promising football player, Rico Burke now earns his living collecting debts for the mob. When his younger brother is drawn toward the same world, Rico's divided loyalties force him to consider whether protecting his family means breaking with the people who control his livelihood. Michael Paré stars in George Mendeluk's crime drama, with Raymond Serra and Kaela Dobkin among the cast. The pressure comes from a man trying to keep someone else from repeating his mistakes while still caught in those choices himself. It is a character-focused selection for viewers interested in stories of criminal obligation and possible redemption.
