Los Locos (1997) DVD — Widescreen Edition
The plot
A lone gunman is hired to escort a group of psychiatric patients across the desert. The journey demands more than a steady aim: danger, difficult terrain and the needs of his companions turn the assignment into an unpredictable test of responsibility and survival. Mario Van Peebles stars in this Western directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, with René Auberjonois and Tom Dorfmeister among the cast. Its unusual traveling party shifts attention from the solitary gunfighter to the people depending on him. This widescreen edition offers a different route into the Western for viewers interested in unconventional frontier stories.
