The plot
A series of Los Angeles murders echoes the crimes of Jack the Ripper a century earlier. When suspicion settles on a young doctor, his identical twin becomes drawn into a case whose apparent answers may be concealing the real killer. James Spader takes the dual role opposite Cynthia Gibb in Rowdy Herrington's mystery thriller. The combination of a modern murder investigation, uncertain identities and disturbing connections between the brothers gives fans of 1980s suspense plenty to unravel without revealing the final turn.
