Hostile Makeover (2009) DVD — Remastered Edition
The plot
Fashion reporter Lacey Smithsonian interviews a model who reveals that she has been receiving death threats. When the woman is murdered, Lacey's assignment becomes an investigation into the motives and secrets behind a carefully maintained public image. Maggie Lawson returns as Lacey in this mystery drawn from Ellen Byerrum's Crime of Fashion novels. Reporting instincts and an eye for what people reveal through appearances give the investigation its character, making it an inviting choice for fans of amateur sleuths and television whodunits.
