Killer Hair (2009) DVD
The plot
When a Washington, D.C., hairstylist is found dead, fashion columnist Lacey Smithsonian doubts the official explanation of suicide. Her search for a better answer brings her into a murder investigation complicated by the return of a former lover, now the detective assigned to the case. Maggie Lawson plays Lacey in this television mystery adapted from Ellen Byerrum's Crime of Fashion stories. Reporting skills and an eye for appearances turn an everyday assignment into amateur sleuthing, making it a welcoming choice for viewers who enjoy mysteries with personality and a touch of romantic friction.
