Brady’s Escape (1983) DVD
The plot
An American airman shot down over occupied Hungary finds help among local horsemen who know the countryside far better than he does. With German patrols closing in, Brady and a young companion must rely on one another as they attempt a dangerous journey toward safety. John Savage and Kelly Reno star in Pál Gábor’s wartime adventure, also known as The Long Ride. The contrast between the stranded pilot and his resourceful young ally gives the escape story its human center, while the open landscape becomes both a possible refuge and a place where they can be exposed.
