Body Count (1986) DVD
The plot
A group of young travelers chooses a woodland campsite without understanding the violence associated with it. Local warnings and an ominous legend take on a new meaning when someone begins stalking the visitors, turning their getaway into a struggle to survive. Ruggero Deodato directs Bruce Penhall, Mimsy Farmer and David Hess in this Italian slasher, also known as Camping del terrore. Body Count combines the secluded campground setting with uncertainty about the killer’s identity, building its suspense around the campers’ separation from help and from one another.
