Blood for Blood / Sunday in the Country (1974) DVD
The plot
Three bank robbers on the run approach a remote farmhouse, expecting an easy refuge. Instead, the farmer captures them and decides that waiting for the police is not enough. His determination to administer his own punishment places everyone at the house in a dangerous moral contest. Ernest Borgnine stars opposite Michael J. Pollard and Hollis McLaren in John Trent’s rural crime thriller. Also known as Sunday in the Country, Blood for Blood reverses the familiar home-invasion setup and asks how far a defender can go before becoming another source of terror.
