Soldier Boyz (1995) DVD
The plot
A former Marine who now works with young offenders recruits six inmates for a dangerous rescue assignment in Vietnam. Their task is to recover a kidnapped businessman’s daughter, with freedom offered as the reward. Before they can survive the mission, they must learn to function as a team. Michael Dudikoff leads the cast, with Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and Tyrin Turner, in Louis Morneau’s action film. Soldier Boyz combines a rescue operation with the friction of an inexperienced unit, as personal rivalries and second chances become part of the fight. It is a choice for viewers who enjoy unlikely recruits facing a common enemy.
