The Machine (1994) DVD — La Machine
The plot
Psychiatrist Marc Lacroix tests a machine designed to enter another person’s mind on a dangerous patient. The experiment exchanges their identities instead, leaving the doctor trapped while the killer gains access to his home, his family and the freedom his own body could never provide. Gérard Depardieu, Nathalie Baye and Didier Bourdon star in François Dupeyron’s science-fiction thriller, also known as La Machine. The central nightmare is intimate: someone familiar has become a stranger, and the person who understands the danger cannot easily prove who he is. This French-language DVD includes English subtitles.
