The Hot, the Cool and the Vicious (1976) DVD — Collector’s Edition
The plot
An outsider’s arrival unsettles Black Stone, where local authority conceals a dangerous network of crime. As a determined lawman and a mysterious fighter move through the town’s shifting alliances, their skills bring them closer to a confrontation with the men controlling events behind the scenes. Tan Tao-liang and Don Wong star in Lee Tso-nam’s martial arts film, blending an intrigue plot with sharply contrasting fighting styles. It is a strong prospect for viewers drawn to the competitive encounters and uneasy partnerships of 1970s kung fu cinema. This Collector’s Edition includes a Tan Tao-liang interview.
