Son of Dracula (1943) DVD
The plot
Fascinated by the possibility of eternal life, Katherine invites Count Alucard to her Southern home. His arrival unsettles those around her and brings a threat they struggle to explain. Her attachment to the mysterious visitor turns a private obsession into danger for family, friends and anyone drawn into their plans. Lon Chaney Jr., Louise Allbritton and Robert Paige star in Robert Siodmak's gothic horror film. The American setting gives the vampire story a different landscape, while desire and deception complicate the struggle against the Count. It is an atmospheric choice for collectors following the Dracula films of Universal's classic monster era.
