The plot
A young American arrives at a Swiss boarding school while a killer is stalking the surrounding area. Her unusual connection with insects gives her a way into the mystery, and an entomologist becomes an important ally. The closer she gets to the truth, the less protection the school's respectable surroundings provide. Jennifer Connelly and Donald Pleasence star in Dario Argento's blend of murder mystery and supernatural horror. The film takes the investigation beyond ordinary clues into a world of strange instincts and disturbing discoveries. It is a distinctive selection for Argento collectors and viewers who enjoy horror that follows its own unsettling logic.
