Buried Alive (1989) DVD
The plot
A new teacher at a school for troubled young women begins to suspect that its missing students have not simply run away. Beneath the institution’s respectable surface lies a growing pattern of disappearances, unsettling behavior and violence concealed from those who should be protecting the girls. Robert Vaughn, Donald Pleasence and John Carradine appear in Gérard Kikoïne’s horror film. Buried Alive combines an isolated-school mystery with the threat of a masked killer, drawing on the macabre possibilities of confinement and secrets hidden behind the walls of an apparently orderly institution.
