The plot
A Pittsburgh department-store window designer attracts attention with her imaginative displays, but one observer turns that attention into an obsession. As his intrusion reaches beyond her work and into her private life, she has to find a way to resist an increasingly threatening stalker. Diane Lane stars with Michael Woods and Cotter Smith in Karen Arthur's psychological thriller. The contrast between a public display and the private vulnerability of its creator gives the story its unsettling premise. It is a choice for viewers who prefer suspense built around boundaries, obsession and a woman's struggle to reclaim control.
