Demolition High (1996) DVD
The plot
When armed attackers take over a high school, student Lenny Slater refuses to wait helplessly for rescue. He and his classmates discover that the hostage crisis is part of a larger threat, forcing them to fight back while the authorities try to regain control. Corey Haim stars with Alan Thicke, Dick Van Patten and Jeff Kober in Jim Wynorski’s action film. Demolition High moves the siege thriller into familiar school corridors, giving its young hero a dangerous test of resourcefulness. It offers a compact mix of teenage defiance and 1990s action-movie escalation.
