Countess Dracula (1971) DVD
The plot
An aging countess discovers that blood can restore her youthful appearance and begins passing herself off as a younger woman. The transformation is temporary, and her desire to preserve it leads to an escalating search for victims and a dangerous web of deception. Ingrid Pitt stars with Nigel Green in Peter Sasdy's Hammer horror film. Inspired by the legend of Elizabeth Bathory, its story of vanity and obsession offers gothic-horror fans a different kind of bloodthirsty aristocrat.
