Cosmic Slop (1994) DVD
The plot
George Clinton introduces three stories that use science fiction and supernatural situations to examine prejudice, belief and power. An offer from extraterrestrials, a religious vision and a couple’s confrontation with violence each turn extraordinary circumstances into uncomfortable questions about the familiar world. Created by Reginald Hudlin, this HBO anthology includes segments directed by Reginald Hudlin, Warrington Hudlin and Kevin Rodney Sullivan. Cosmic Slop moves between satire and unsettling fantasy, inviting viewers who enjoy speculative television to consider whose interests are protected when a society is forced to make a choice.
