Cassandra (1987) DVD
The plot
Disturbing dreams convince Cassandra that something in her family’s past has been concealed from her. As the images grow more insistent, she begins to connect the nightmares with events and people around her, turning a search for answers into a dangerous confrontation with buried secrets. Tessa Humphries stars alongside Shane Briant and Briony Behets in Colin Eggleston’s Australian horror film. Cassandra blends a family mystery with the possibility of psychic knowledge, letting unsettling visions challenge the reassuring explanations offered by the adults closest to its young heroine.
