Film
Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974) DVD
The plot
Hidden inside an asylum, Baron Frankenstein continues his experiments beyond the scrutiny of the outside world. A young doctor joins his work, but the attempt to build a new creature from the institution's patients exposes the terrible cost of the Baron's determination. Peter Cushing stars with Shane Briant, Madeline Smith and David Prowse in Terence Fisher's Hammer horror film. The enclosed setting and a scientist who refuses to abandon his ambitions make this a grim, atmospheric choice for a classic-horror collection.
