Call to Glory (1984) DVD – Pilot Movie
The plot
Air Force pilot Raynor Sarnac balances a demanding military career with the needs of his family as Cold War tensions build. The Cuban Missile Crisis brings those pressures into sharp focus, making distant political decisions immediate concerns for the people waiting at home. Craig T. Nelson stars with Cindy Pickett and Elisabeth Shue in the television pilot that introduced the Sarnac family. Call to Glory combines aviation drama with the changing relationships of an early-1960s household. This listing is for the pilot movie, giving viewers the opening story of the series rather than a complete-season collection.
