Blood Salvage (1990) DVD
The plot
A roadside breakdown leads a traveling family into the hands of a man whose salvage business has a gruesome second purpose. Jake and his sons treat people as a supply of organs, but their latest captives prove less manageable than they expect. Danny Nelson, Lori Birdsong and Christian Hesler star in Tucker Johnston’s rural horror film. Blood Salvage combines a deranged family enterprise with a fight to escape, drawing its menace from the uneasy overlap between mechanical repairs and human bodies. Its grotesque humor adds another unsettling layer to the ordeal.
