The Stranger and the Gunfighter (1974) DVD — Blood Money
The plot
An outlaw and a martial artist become unlikely partners in a search for hidden wealth. The clues take them across the West, but finding the treasure is only part of the problem. Rival hunters and armed opponents are just as interested in reaching it first. Lee Van Cleef and Lo Lieh bring contrasting fighting styles to Antonio Margheriti’s Western comedy, also known as Blood Money. Gunplay and kung fu share the action, with the partnership providing as much friction as the pursuit itself. For collectors who enjoy films that cross genre boundaries, this offers a lively meeting of Italian Western and Hong Kong martial arts traditions.
