The Krays (1990) DVD

Ronnie and Reggie Kray grow from fiercely protective brothers into powerful figures in London’s criminal underworld. Their expanding influence brings money and fear, but family attachments and increasingly destructive behavior make their private lives as volatile as their public reputation.

Gary and Martin Kemp play the twins in Peter Medak’s crime drama, with Billie Whitelaw as their mother. The film places the brothers’ upbringing and family relationships alongside their violence, rather than treating their rise as a simple gangster adventure. It offers a concentrated study of loyalty, intimidation and the forces that help create a criminal legend.
