The plot
Two men endure the demands of Navy SEAL training while competing in their personal lives as well as their military careers. Their uneasy friendship is tested when wartime duty places them in danger, forcing them to rely on the very bond that rivalry has threatened to break. Rob Lowe and Gale Hansen star alongside Tracy Griffith in this 1991 military drama. The Finest Hour combines the pressures of training with a Persian Gulf War mission, giving action viewers a story in which loyalty between comrades matters as much as completing the assignment.
