The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu (1980) DVD — Widescreen
The plot
When the potion that prolongs his life is destroyed, Fu Manchu sends his followers in search of the ingredients needed to replace it. The resulting jewel hunt brings his old adversary Nayland Smith back into action, turning a desperate scheme into an increasingly absurd contest. Peter Sellers plays both Fu Manchu and Smith in this 1980 comedy, with Helen Mirren and Sid Caesar among the supporting cast. The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu treats the adventure-villain formula as broad farce, offering Sellers collectors an opportunity to see his contrasting character performances in a single film.
