Raid on Entebbe (1977) DVD — Uncut Version
The plot
After an Air France flight is hijacked and taken to Uganda, Israeli officials face a crisis far from home. With hostages held at Entebbe Airport, a rescue operation must be planned under intense pressure. The film follows the decisions and military preparations behind the attempt to bring them back. Peter Finch, Charles Bronson and Yaphet Kotto lead Irvin Kershner's dramatization of the 1976 events. Political calculation and operational risk give the story its tension, moving between the people making decisions and those asked to carry them out. This listing is the remastered, uncut version, with an existing runtime of two hours and twenty-five minutes.
