Rad (1986) DVD — Remastered Widescreen
The plot
Young BMX rider Cru Jones sees the Helltrack race as his chance to prove himself against established competitors. The opportunity brings pressure from home and from the business surrounding the event, while fellow rider Christian offers encouragement. Making the starting line is only part of the challenge. Bill Allen, Lori Loughlin and Talia Shire star in Hal Needham's sports adventure. BMX riding gives the underdog story its distinctive energy, with ambition and friendship tested by opponents who have more resources. This remastered widescreen edition is a choice for viewers returning to the film's 1980s racing world or discovering Cru's story for the first time.
