Race for the Yankee Zephyr (1981) DVD — Remastered
The plot
The discovery of a crashed wartime aircraft promises a fortune for an unlikely group of treasure hunters. Word of the find also attracts dangerous competitors, turning the search into a race through New Zealand's rugged landscape. Recovering the cargo will require more than simply reaching the wreck first. Ken Wahl, Lesley Ann Warren, Donald Pleasence and George Peppard star in David Hemmings's action adventure. The appeal is in the combination of treasure-hunt suspense, competing personalities and a setting that makes every journey an obstacle. This remastered DVD is a lively choice for viewers who enjoy adventure driven by greed, ingenuity and pursuit.
