Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (1998) DVD
The plot
Retired operative Nick Fury is called back into action when HYDRA threatens a devastating biological attack. Rejoining S.H.I.E.L.D. means facing old enemies and working with a team racing to stop a plot that could turn New York into a disaster zone. David Hasselhoff plays Marvel's eyepatched agent, with Sandra Hess and Lisa Rinna in the cast. This television adventure offers a different screen interpretation of the character from the later Marvel films. For viewers interested in comic-book adaptations and 1990s superhero television, it combines espionage, larger-than-life villains and a familiar action star in an unusual role.
