Next Door (1994) DVD — James Woods
The plot
A college professor and his family hope to settle into suburban life, but a dispute with their neighbors soon makes home feel anything but peaceful. A damaged garden begins a cycle of retaliation, and each attempt to get even draws the two households further into a conflict neither seems willing to end. James Woods, Randy Quaid, Kate Capshaw and Lucinda Jenney star in Tony Bill's television film. Dark comedy gives way to mounting menace as an everyday grievance becomes a dangerous contest. It is a choice for viewers who enjoy domestic suspense built around the uneasy question of how well anyone knows the people next door.
