The Lady Takes a Flyer (1958) DVD — Remastered Edition
The plot
Cargo pilots Mike Dandridge and Maggie Colby fall in love while sharing a life in the air. Marriage and parenthood bring a new imbalance: Maggie stays home while Mike keeps flying, and jealousy and competing ambitions begin to strain their partnership. Lana Turner and Jeff Chandler star in Jack Arnold's aviation comedy drama, with Richard Denning in support. The story turns a flying adventure into a contest over work, trust and responsibility. It offers a change of pace for classic-film viewers who enjoy romance with capable characters and a setting beyond the usual drawing room.
