Freud (1962) DVD
The plot
A young Sigmund Freud challenges the medical establishment as he searches for the hidden causes of his patients' distress. His work with hypnosis and a troubled young woman draws him into an investigation of memory, dreams and the workings of his own mind. Montgomery Clift and Susannah York star with Larry Parks in John Huston's biographical drama, also known as The Secret Passion. Its focus on an investigator confronting mysteries within himself makes it an absorbing choice for viewers who enjoy psychological drama and searching performances.
