Disciples of Shaolin (1975) DVD
The plot
A gifted young martial artist takes work at a textile mill and discovers that his fighting ability can bring rewards as well as trouble. Rivalries between the mills draw him into violence, while a fellow Shaolin disciple warns him about the price of unchecked ambition. Alexander Fu Sheng and Chi Kuan-chun star in Chang Cheh's Shaw Brothers martial-arts drama. Its blend of physical skill and an inexperienced hero's rise makes an absorbing choice for kung fu fans who enjoy character and consequences alongside the fights.
