The plot
Carla has raised her daughter with support from three former American soldiers, each convinced he is the father. When all three return to her Italian village for a reunion with their wives, the arrangement that has kept her secure becomes almost impossible to conceal. Gina Lollobrigida stars with Phil Silvers, Peter Lawford and Telly Savalas in Melvin Frank's farce. Competing claims to fatherhood and overlapping deceptions make this a lively selection for fans of ensemble comedy.
