Big Man on Campus (1989) DVD — Widescreen Version
The plot
A man who has been living in a university bell tower is discovered and brought into a world he barely understands. A student tries to help him adjust, while academics and officials debate what should happen to this unusual new arrival. Allan Katz wrote the film and stars as Bob, with Corey Parker and Cindy Williams in Jeremy Kagan’s comedy. Big Man on Campus borrows the outline of a familiar outsider story and relocates it to college life, finding humor in the contrast between institutional expectations and Bob’s direct response to people.
