Ben (1972) DVD
The plot
A lonely boy forms an unlikely friendship with Ben, a rat whose followers have already brought terror to the neighborhood. As the colony grows more dangerous and the authorities close in, the boy's affection puts him at odds with the adults trying to stop it. Lee Montgomery, Joseph Campanella and Arthur O'Connell star in this sequel to Willard. The contrast between a child's need for companionship and the threat outside makes an unsettling animal-horror double-bill choice.
