A Sinful Life (1989) DVD
The plot
Former television dancer Claire Vin Blanc’s chaotic life is becoming a problem for her young daughter. When the threat of losing custody forces Claire to confront her drinking and unstable household, her efforts to build a more respectable future take a series of eccentric turns. Anita Morris leads this offbeat comedy, with Dennis Christopher and Blair Tefkin. Directed by William Schreiner, A Sinful Life approaches the difficulties of parenthood and starting over through an unruly collection of characters rather than a tidy family formula.
